چکیده
The clinical picture (fever, cough, sputum, auscultatory changes), peripheral blood parameters (leukocytosis, ESR) and radiological data are currently the criteria for suspecting bacterial pneumonia in patients with SARS CoV-2 infection indication of antibacterial treatment. initiation antibiotic therapy is empirical by taking into account pathogens most likely involved community-acquired (Str pneumoniae, St. aureus, Kl. Haemofillus influenzae, Mecoplasma Chlamydia, Ps. aeruginosa). Beta-lactams (cephalosporins, carbapenems), protected beta-lactams, macrolides fluoroquinolones commonly administered groups, combinations cephalosporins + constitute used groups treatment order to include flora, gram-positive or gram-negative, atypical.

Effective empiric treatment of pneumonia requires antibiotic coverage against gram-negative and gram-positive pathogens, including drug-resistant isolates. We compared the safety and efficacy of intravenous (i.v.) cefepime (2 g administered every 12 h) to those of i.v. ceftriaxone (1 g administered every 12 h) for the empiric treatment of hospitalized patients with community-acquired pneumonia....
متن کامل792Predictors of viral pneumonia in patients with community-acquired pneumonia
BACKGROUND Viruses are increasingly recognized as major causes of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP). Few studies have investigated the clinical predictors of viral pneumonia, and the results have been inconsistent. In this study, the clinical predictors of viral pneumonia were investigated in terms of their utility as indicators for viral pneumonia in patients with CAP. METHODS Adult patient...
